CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE's label Animals With Records sent me their splendid amalgamation of The Blood Brothers' sass, The Great Redneck Hope's growly/pukey screams and Fear Before The March Of Flames' mixture of dual vocals as well as instrumentals. Formed in Boston during 2015, this four-piece sound a lot like The Love And Terror Cult with their cross-contaminated creations of dark, spastic, indie rock/post-punk guitar and bass with lightning fast drums and fiery, demonic screams. The band released the unreal debut EP 'Let's Die.' earlier in 2016 and I've been jamming it constantly.

Right outta the gate on 'Let's Die.', CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE bust out some very heavy, screamy and sassy hardcore with "Neo D.C. 2023", which is a bouncy romp through an mixture of The Blood Brothers and Curl Up And Die, or perhaps a really hard Rye Coalition. "Vote Maybe On Proposition Go Fuck Yourself" is the first track that implements some nice dual vocals which are extremely similar to Fear Before The March Of Flames as the primary vocalist has a crazy puke-esque scream while the backups are a confident yell and border on clean singing. The band has a sassy, quirky instrumental section that is in the same vein as Life In VacuumThe Blood Brothers and The Jonbenét. The following song titled "De Neuf" is like an even better version of track two, as the band lays heavy on the Fear Before The March Of Flames sound found on 'Art Damage' and mix it with Short Hair and The Great Redneck Hope without getting too grindcore. "I Misunderstood The Term Political Party" boasts verses that sound like an 80s rock cover and a killer chorus that is much more interesting and cohesive than said verses. I've found myself singing said chorus daily, which goes "Time to work hard. Time to grow up. Time to move on. I don't wanna!". "Let's Die?" is the title track and closer on this EP, and it clocks in at 6:44, which is as long as the other four songs combined. It is pretty standard fare for the band for the first two minutes, and then shit starts to fall apart, with only the drums and bass attempting to hold the song up. Sporadic, distorted noise clips rip apart the remaining foundation and at 2:39 the song erupts in dark waves of screaming, "Let's all die!" that eventually fades out in a twisted, disturbed and uncomfortable outro.

So...yeah. This is an unreal debut/demo/EP/whatever you wanna call it. Very refreshing. Very amazing. Very "get the fuck on this".
