Josh, Vadim and Kevin from Neil Perry, Joshua Fit For Battle and most other notable screamo bands from the early 2000s, got together and recorded an acoustic album. No breakdowns. No screaming. Just pretty noodling and thick, intertwined chorded riffs. Is there singing, you ask? Oh yes, there is some serious pop-punk emo vocals straight outta 2002.

Let's get one thing straight - this shit is cheesy as all hell. Somehow, knowing this is the guys from Joshua Fit For Battle is probably the only reason I can stomach it. This is generally the kind of music that is meant to attract girls. I mean, look at the title "Hearts Break, They Don't Bend" and the majority of the lyrics compared to their other outfits. Let's take a looksy-doodle:

"Have I told you how warm you make me feel. The way you tell me everything that makes you happy. But I can't help but think and wonder sometimes but I just hope that I am one of them."

When the guys moved on to their 2nd release - shit gets out of hand. The record shows some decent pop musicianship, but dear god by track 3 I was ready to listen to Converge and Knut at the same time for a week straight just to corrode all the excess bubble-gum emo in my brain.

I've got to give them credit, though - they completed immersed themselves in the style. And for that style, it's fantastic. Only thing is, I'm not the biggest fan of said style. But I love this. Even though it isn't good. Except it is. Although, really, it isn't. But Jakubowski makes it great. Oh, man this could go on for a while.
