Let's be honest - CAPSULE has mad cred, as far as I can tell. What is "mad cred"? I'll be fucked if I know, but I'm sure that's what people say nowadays if musicians love a band. I know a lot of people who love CAPSULE. I can dig it, but the band (and vocals, more specifically) don't make me gaga. That's kind of strange considering I listen to some stuff with very whacked out vocals. If we go back to their earlier days ("You Will Need" and "Lukewarm", especially) I was shitting my pants thinking I was listening to the offspring of Hot Cross and Jeromes Dream. I also enjoyed the 'Blue' album, but after that it kind of got stale for me. I thoroughly enjoyed track "IV" from '[A]', but mostly the vocals wear on me even though the instrumentals are awesome. Again, the band is awesome but not as encompassing as their earlier stuff. This ain't truth, it's just my opinion.

Enough of my bias - this band makes extremely interesting music. Imagine throwing Hot Cross/Neil Perry riffs with later-era Jeromes Dream and the dark skramz/sludge of Rayeigh into a meat grinder and you might get the idea. It's a thick amalgamation of mathy, high-end riffing, yelling, stops and starts, breakdowns, insane speed and well-placed softer jams. Generally, if you're a fan of intelligent, mathy and aggressive music, then CAPSULE is for you.
